A Few Of Our Favourite Projects From The Last Month

It's been a few weeks since our brand new Masterclass launched and your response has been amazing. With 13 lessons included in it, there is a ton of skills and projects to keep you busy and it certainly has been inspiring 'Folkers' new and old.
Here are a few of our favourites from the past month....

Emma Jewell crafts tries Folk Art brushstrokes with You Can Folk It's Masterclass

A complete beginner, Emma aka Emma Jewell Crafts had never seen our kits before but got stuck straight in with our first Daisy lesson. Following the video lesson, she has done a great job of painting the comma stroke and playing with colours. Photo: @emmajewellcrafts

Rustic bags and tags decorated with painted daisies and lavender from You Can Folk It's masterclass

Rachel's mum has been making some beautiful handmade soap, so our Lavender and Daisy design was the perfect way to decorate a rustic gift bag and tag. All of our designs are created with cards and gift tags in mind and a little Folk Art is a beautiful way of personalising your gifts. Photo: @Crafty Folk

Folk Art flowers: Handpainted roses and rosebuds

Tina has been a fan of our Vintage Rose kit for a while but after getting the Masterclass, she has learnt to paint the flat brush rosebuds too. We love that she is pairing traditional painting techniques with vintage items like this old iron she's picked up. Folk Art is such a great skill for up-cycling. Photo: @Tina_Janney

Decorative painting - teddy bears from You Can Folk It's Folk Art masterclass

Teresa has done a wonderful (and colourful) job on these beautiful teddies. Our last lesson in the booklet, this lesson teaches you to build light and shade on your project to create a 3-dimensional look. They look wonderfully cuddly don't they! Photo @teresapaperscrafts

Handpainted topiary from You Can Folk It's folk art masterclass

Bringing together stippling, ribbons and our beloved dot roses, these two topiary are just a couple of projects from our Topiary and wreath lesson. Rene has paired them with the ever-popular kraft card to give her greetings cards a rustic charm.  Photo: @Simply Renew
